Agreement
These terms apply to every device downloaded from this site. Downloading, installing or using a device means agreeing to them. The devices are made by Thomas Neulinger, Vienna, Austria.
License
Every device is free. Anyone may download, install and use it on any number of computers, for commercial and non-commercial work. The devices are licensed, not sold, and all rights in them remain with Thomas Neulinger.
Your music
Everything made with the devices belongs to whoever made it. It can be recorded, performed, released and sold, with no royalties owed and no credit required.
Not permitted
The devices and their presets, changed or unchanged, may never be sold or rented. Sharing or redistributing them, or building them into other products, requires Thomas Neulinger’s written permission. A link to this site is welcome instead. The patches can be opened and changed for one’s own use. Austrian copyright law also permits backup copies, studying how a device works and decompiling it to make other software work with it (§§ 40d and 40e UrhG).
Updates and support
Updates, fixes and support are given at Thomas Neulinger’s discretion and may stop at any time.
Warranty and liability
The devices are provided as they are, without any warranty. As far as the law allows, Thomas Neulinger is not liable for damage arising from their use, including lost data or income. Liability for intent, gross negligence and personal injury remains.
End of the license
The license ends when these terms are broken, and all copies of the devices must then be deleted.
Applicable law
Austrian law applies, and the courts of Vienna have jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer protection in the user’s country of residence remains unaffected. If one provision is invalid, the rest still applies.
